BMS Group acquires Turkish broker Oria

BMS Group, an independent international insurance and reinsurance broker, has acquired Oria Sigorta ve Reasürans Brokerliði.

Founded in 2019, Oria is an independent insurance and reinsurance broker based in Istanbul, owned and chaired by Cenk Erden.

With this acquisition, BMS will further strengthen its presence in the Turkish market, where it has been present since 2021 through BMS Group Sigorta ve Reasurans Brokerligi.

Cenk Erden and Remzi Duman, Executive Vice President of Oria, will join the BMS Board of Directors in Turkey.

Oria's activities will be merged with those of BMS in Turkey. The merged entity will operate under the name BMS Group Sigorta ve Reasurans Brokerligi.
