The Supervisory Authority of Insurance and Social Welfare (ACAPS) organized a Master Class on compulsory Construction's All Risks (CAR) and Decennial Liability (DLI) insurances.
Aimed at journalists, the event was held on 24 June 2025 in Casablanca, Morocco.
ACAPS experts presented and explained the framework, which has been mandatory since December 2024.
Speakers outlined the practical aspects of the system and emphasized the importance of CAR and DLI insurance, particularly for the construction and public works (CPW) sector. This requirement applies to project owners, architects, or contractors, and takes effect as soon as work begins.
As a reminder, CAR insurance covers risks occurring during construction work, while DLI protects buyers and future property owners after project completion.
