Continental Re: Moadh Derbali, Head of Facultative Underwriting at Tunis office

Moadh Derbali has been promoted to Head of Underwriting (Facultative Business) at Continental Re’s regional office in Tunis.

A graduate of the National Engineering School of Tunis, Mr. Derbali brings 18 years of experience in the insurance industry to his new role. He began his career at COMAR, where he served as a Prevention Engineer, later becoming a Fire Underwriter and then Claims Manager.

In 2018, he joined Continental Re’s Tunisian operations as Deputy Underwriting Manager. Between 2018 and 2023, he held senior positions at the Tunisian consultancy firm Continuous Progress for Engineering and Risks (CPERS) and PREVEX AFRICA, a firm accredited by the FTUSA.

Mr. Derbali returned to Continental Re Tunis in 2023 as Claims Manager before assuming his current position.
