Establishment of SUNU Réassurance

The Regional Insurance Control Commission (CRCA) has given SUNU Assurances the go-ahead to set up a reinsurance company called SUNU Réassurance (SUNU Ré).

Based in Abidjan (Côte d'Ivoire), the new company has a capital of 5 billion FCFA (8 million USD).

Roland Ouedrago and Issofa Nchare have been appointed CEO and Chairman of the Board of SUNU Ré respectively.

This initiative is part of the pan-African group's development strategy aimed at ensuring optimum protection for its insurance subsidiaries.
