Generali: 2024 results

Generali reported a 14.9% increase in turnover to 95.19 billion EUR (99.1 billion USD) at end-December 2024. Life premiums rose by 19.2% to 61.434 billion EUR (64 billion USD), while non-life (P&C) premiums climbed by 7.7% to 33.756 billion EUR (35.1 billion USD). The P&C combined ratio remained stable at 94%.

The Italian insurer closed the year with a net profit of 3.724 billion EUR (3.9 billion USD), a slight 0.6% decline over one year.

At 30.4 billion EUR (31.7 billion USD), the Group's shareholders' equity was up 4.9% compared to the same period in 2023. The solvency ratio stood at 210%.

A dividend of 1.43 EUR (1.5 USD) per share will be proposed at the next Annual General Meeting scheduled for 24 April 2025.
