Generali: results as at 30 June 2025

As at 30 June 2025, Generali reported a turnover 50.534 billion EUR (59.2 billion USD), up 0.8% compared to the 50.14 billion EUR (53.7 billion USD) recorded a year earlier.

Operating income rose by 8.7% to 4.049 billion EUR (4.7 billion USD).

The Italian group's adjusted net result reached 2.237 billion EUR (2.6 billion USD) against 2.025 billion EUR (2.2 billion USD) in the same period of 2024, that is a 10.4% growth.

The life insurance business closed the first two quarters of the current year with a 2.6% decline in written premiums to 31.762 billion EUR (37.2 billion USD).

Non-life premiums amounted to 18.772 billion EUR (21.9 billion USD), up 7.6% over one year. The combined ratio improved by 1.4 points to 91%.
