Laurent Thuillier, new General Manager of STAR Assurances

Laurent Thuillier has joined Société Tunisienne d'Assurances et de Réassurances (STAR) as General Manager. The appointment takes effect on 23 April 2025.

L. Thuillier will be taking over from Hassène Feki, who has been reassigned to other duties within the Groupama Group.

L. Thuillier has over 30 years' experience in the insurance industry, including 27 years with Groupama. Throughout his career, he has held a number of management positions within the French mutual insurance company, notably in France, Romania and Greece.

L. Thuillier has served as Deputy General Manager of Groupama Phoenix Asfalistiki in Greece since 2016.

STAR Assurances' new General Manager is a graduate of EM Normandie Business School, Leeds Beckett University (UK), IAE Dijon and Ecole Nationale d'Assurances (France).
