Newpoint Re: 2024 results

Insurance and reinsurance company Newpoint Re has published its financial results for the year ended 31 December 2024.

Gross written premiums totaled 400.9 million USD, up 61% on the 249.4 million USD recorded at the end of 2023. Insurance revenue amounted to 346.7 million USD, compared with 153.3 million USD posted for the same period of the previous year.

At 8.4 million USD, the company's net result was 79% higher than the 4.7 million USD achieved at end-December 2023. The combined ratio stood at 85%.

During the reporting period, the company's assets and shareholders' equity reached 768.9 million USD and 308 million USD respectively.

Founded in 2010, Newpoint Re is an insurance and reinsurance company licensed to operate on the Caribbean island of Niévès.
