Sanlam Maroc closed the first three months of 2025 with a turnover of 2.08 billion MAD (215.9 million USD), showing a 3.1% drop compared with the 2.147 billion MAD (212.4 million USD) recorded at end-March 2025.
This decline is mainly explained by the 26.2% decrease in life insurance premiums, which amounted to 148 million MAD (15.4 million USD).
Non-life premiums fell by 0.7% year-on-year to 1.932 billion MAD (200.5 million USD).
During the reporting period, investments allocated to insurance operations stood at 17.045 billion MAD (1.8 billion USD), while technical reserves reached 16.188 billion MAD (1.7 billion USD).
