SCR rebrands as Atlantic Re

Société Centrale de Réassurance (SCR) has changed its name to Atlantic Re.

The reinsurer has also inaugurated a new head office at Casablanca Finance City (CFC).

This rebranding is part of the former SCR's “Reach2030” strategic plan aimed at cementing its position in Morocco and accelerating its expansion in Africa.

Atlantic Re has been in the insurance business for over 65 years, and today provides services to over 500 customers in more than 70 countries. The company has four representative offices, in Abidjan (Côte d'Ivoire), Kigali (Rwanda), Cairo (Egypt) and Johannesburg (South Africa).

Atlantic Re closed the 2024 financial year with a turnover of 3.88 billion MAD (375.9 million USD).
