SMABTP increases its stake in DUPI to 100%

Société Mutuelle d'Assurance du Bâtiment et des Travaux Publics (SMABTP) has acquired 41.44% of DUPI, a Dutch underwriting agency specializing in marine transport and construction insurance.

This stake was previously held by DUPI's CEO Stijn Bakkeren and CCO Anton Cornel, who will be stepping down from their positions effective 30 September 2024.

This acquisition came following the initial takeover of 58.56% of DUPI's capital in March 2023.

As such, SMABTP becomes the agency's sole shareholder.

The amount of the transaction has not been disclosed.
