AXA, founding patron of the Louvre Museum

The AXA Group has become the founding patron of the Louvre Museum.

Through this agreement, AXA Mutuelles d'assurances will support the creation of the Department of Byzantine Arts and Eastern Christianities, which will be the ninth conservation department of the Louvre Museum. The new department is scheduled to be open to the public in 2027.

By joining the project as a “founding patron”, Mutuelles d'assurances AXA is aligning itself with the Louvre Museum's mission to provide visitors with accessible and educational insights into the significance of this pivotal moment in art history.
