According to Insurance Monitor, the eight insurers listed on the Qatari Stock Exchange closed the 2024 financial year with insurance revenue of 15 billion QAR (4.7 billion USD), a 5% decline compared to the same period in 2023.
Net combined ratio improved by 2.1 points to 96.6%.
The net profit generated by all listed insurance companies amounted to 1.46 billion QAR (456.8 million USD), against a net loss of 400 million QAR (130.3 million USD) at the end of 2023.
