Waica Re Kenya: 2025 results

Waica Re Kenya has released its key performance indicators for the fiscal year ended 31 December 2025.

Reinsurance revenue declined by 3.8%, falling from 5.514 billion KES (42.3 million USD) in 2024 to 5.307 billion KES (40.9 million USD).

Annual net profit rose significantly to 572.448 million KES (4.4 million USD), compared to 331.117 million KES (2.5 million USD) in the same period of 2024, representing an increase of 72.9%.

The company’s equity stood at 3.239 billion KES (25 million USD), while share capital remained unchanged at 1.1 billion KES (8.5 million USD). Return on equity (ROE) was 18%.
